Lynette Reed

Lynette Reed is the founder of Hybridges, and Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Te Kaunihera o Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland Council.

 

Lynette was a founding member, chair and host of the Viaduct Village, an informal and growing network of Pasifika corporate leaders based in Auckland’s viaduct basin.

 

In 2022 Lynette completed her Master of Technological Futures at academyEx, bringing Pasifika engagement models from the academic world into the workplace. In her previous roles as Head of DEI at Auckland Transport, Lynette pioneered the organisation's very first Pasifika Strategy, as well as overseeing the crucial Future of Work, Hybrid ways of working strategy. Lynette's work earned her a finalist position at the NZ Diversity Champion Awards 2022. Lynette serves alongside her husband, Pastor Richard Reed at Aukilani Community Church in Avondale.  Lynette is also Chairperson of an Samoan-bi lingual early childhood centre Aukilani Kids based in Lansford Crescent, Avondale as well as a Pasifika Business Advisor for Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT).
