Established at the 2025 Whau Pasifika Festival, this year’s competition highlights the growing passion of Siva Afi - Samoan Fire Dance, throughout Te Ika a Māui.

 

With three divisions - Juniors, Intermediate and Seniors, witness our competitors across all ages from as young as 10 to as mature as 40 years old, perform to a live crowd with fire for the very first time.

 

Winners of each division will perform at the Whau Pasifika Festival’s Fiafia Night at 6 PM.

 

Brought to you by Siva Afi Aotearoa, Aktive Zone and MaieSitete Siva, who aim to connect Pasifika to their roots through the searing heat and vitality of Siva Afi.
