I am a child of the 1970s Pacific migration to Aotearoa. My parents settled and made Avondale home and my husband and I stayed and raised our three children along the banks of the Whau.

I have worked in the public sector for over 25 years in Public Health, MSD and am currently the Chief Advisor, Pacific Education for the Ministry of Education.
